How to play the hidden object game

Find eight small objects in each of eight original illustrated places: a glasshouse, painter’s attic, harbor shop, library, tea courtyard, lighthouse, bakery and observatory.

Look for little things

1. Choose a scene and read the object list below the picture.
2. Select a listed object in the scene. It is marked as found in both places.
3. An empty click uses one of five careful clicks. Clicking an already found object does not use another click.
4. Find all eight objects to finish. If the five careful clicks run out, restart the scene.

Zoom and hints

Use + and − to zoom between 100% and 300%. Scroll or swipe inside the picture to explore enlarged details. Small screens start at 250% so the objects are easier to select. Reveal a hint circles one missing object and brings it into view. Hints are unlimited and their use is shown when you finish.

Keyboard controls

Use Tab to focus objects in the picture and Enter or Space to select one. On the picture frame, Arrow keys pan an enlarged scene. + and − change the zoom and H asks for a hint. Object names are provided to assistive technology.

Saved progress

Your current scene, found objects, remaining careful clicks, hint count and list of completed scenes are saved in this browser’s local storage. Zoom and scroll position stay in the current tab.
